With a background in data network design and implementation, Karl has developed global network operations groups for Novell, Inc., LSI Logic Corp., and Aristasoft, Inc. These organizations relied heavily on infrastructure management tools to monitor, maintain, and manage the infrastructure and network-based services for mission critical Enterprise Applications.

At Aristasoft, a start-up Application Service Provider located in San Jose, CA., Karl oversaw network design, implementation, and operations, as well as the 24x7 operations of virtual data centers for the ASP's 22 customers.
